Meet The Team
Aoife Lynch
Office Administrator
At Uccello Designs, my primary role is Sales Administrator, but I also assist wherever I am needed. Most of my work is in the B2C part of our business which has a lot of admin, reconciling all online orders, following up with aftersales customer care and other general office duties. I am also the Junior Marketing Administrator which means I help manage our social media, B2C marketing and other tasks.
I started at Uccello in 2019 and worked full time on my school holidays and part-time during the year, now that I have graduated from secondary school, I have started working full time again in our primary office in Ireland. Computer Science has always been a favourite subject and passion of mine, so I have been able to apply my knowledge to my work to create digital workflows and tracking systems for our ordering processes.
In my free time, you can find me either playing video games with my friends, in the cinema, hanging out with my cat, or eating my favourite food – pasta. Now that I am finished school I am trying to travel as much as possible, so I tend to spend a lot of time planning that too!
Cathriona Lacey
Customer Care Manager
My current role in Uccello is leading Customer Care. This includes all queries from our valued customers which can relate to sales, warranty, delivery, or payment issues. It also includes all questions and other requests for information from Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Carers and other medical professionals, resellers, disability organisations and all other people and organisations wishing to partner with Uccello Designs.
Before this role in Uccello, I was also the Digital Marketer for Ireland and the Operations Admin. I have worked as a marketer for several other companies and enjoyed every minute of it but helping people is where my passion is. I also have 23 years’ experience in the Irish Defense Forces; this has nurtured this passion, and which also gave me the experience needed to take on the Operations Administrator role.
Outside of the office, I love playing musical instruments, singing, forest walks and hiking & swimming. I have played in bands most of my life and love it. Did I mention chocolate???

Head of Finance
My current role in Uccello is Head of Finance. This includes supporting the management team in making good decisions. A big component of making people’s lives easier is making sure that business itself is managed as well as we design our products.
This means I spend a lot of time measuring and planning and thinking about what Uccello needs to make big stuff happen from a financial aspect. I also make sure we pay our bills on time!
I’m a qualified accountant with 15 years’ experience working in the small business environment.
During this time, I have done a lot of work with state bodies mentoring and supporting small business owners who are trying to achieve big goals.
I also own and operate an accounting practice with a team of five people supporting a wide range of clients.
I like to get outdoors focused as much as possible. I swim in the Atlantic Ocean almost daily. I like to get into the mountains in Connemara as much as possible.
I’ve done some multi-day hikes in Europe and Africa in recent years. I’m always planning the next big trip. I’m also a bit of a book worm and cook a decent chilli!

Integrator, Innovation & Sales
My current role in Uccello is what we call the Integrator, which can involve wearing many different hats. We have a few different Teams such as Social Impact, People, Innovation, Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations and I am honoured to be able to participate in each of these Teams with the best colleagues I’ve ever had. In a nutshell, I see my role as trying to solve bottlenecks and issues as quickly as possible, or ideally before they have an impact, so the Teams can get on with what they do best.
I’ve worked on every continent except Antarctica and swam in every ocean except the Arctic…… I guess I don’t like the cold very much. Went to University for the first time when I was 35; to get an MBA – better late than never.
When I’m not in the office, I love the outdoors, hiking or country walks in forests. I also love listening to and playing music; I play a few different instruments, and I also love reading and poetry. I think spicy food must get mentioned here too!!!
